Our Ceremony and Reception will both be at the Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The hotel was built in 1928 and is the only Baltimore hotel listed as a Historic Landmark.

Named for George Calvert, Lord Baltimore and founder of the Maryland colony, the Lord Baltimore Hotel was the last high-rise building to be erected with classical ornamentation in downtown Baltimore.  At the time of its construction in 1928, the 23-story building was the largest hotel in the state. Its splendid two-story lobby offered a gracious welcome with stately columns, brass accents and comfortable appointments.The Calvert Ballroom, one of the city’s most popular event spaces, is enhanced with Waterford crystal chandeliers and a series of murals that highlight scenes from Baltimore’s history.

The Ceremony 

Our wedding is going to be a traditional Jewish ceremony with some very special additions. We have chosen to begin our ceremony with a Havdalah service. Havdalah celebrates distinctions in life—on our wedding day it will symbolize both the distinction between the Sabbath and the regular week, and the distinction between our lives as single people and a married couple.

Following the Havdalah service, we will sign our Ketubah, our formal marriage contract. Once we have signed the contract, the wedding ceremony will continue with circling, the exchange of rings, and the kiss!

The Reception

Following the ceremony, we plan to dance the night away in a beautiful setting, surrounded by our wonderful friends and family!!!
