After a Memorial Day Weekend spent at home nursing Franken-Du...we got some great news. Lukey is cancer free--and instead has an autoimmune disease that we will manage with some medicine and diet. Stitches came out today, and we hope to be swimming in another week or so!!!
Here are a few pictures of how we spent our Weekend.
We mastered the art of finding sticks that fit inside the lampshade!

We had a lovely backyard picnic!

We watched our garden bloom...

Went on to the island for ice cream!

And finished off with a much needed nap!

Hello all!
Spring of 2007 has been very very good to us!
We kicked off the spring with a visit to the Renault Winery near Atlantic City, NJ for Shimbo and Deanna's beautiful wedding. Much fun (and much blueberry champagne!) was had by all throughout the weekend's events.
Nick was a groomsman. His groomsman gift was a smashing picture of our beautiful selves!

We went from day...

To night...

By the end of the night, we drank so much blueberry champagne, it was hard to tell who was married to whom!?!??!

Oh yes, and the bride and groom looked amazing!

Next, we were off to explore our Clark family roots at the Celtic Festival.

We saw the Caber Toss!

Nick sized up his competition...

And we looked pretty darn cute.

Mother's Day rolled around, and we spent the first one with the Clark mom, on the sailboat. Its tough to be a sailing Du!

Our second Mothers Day celebration was with the Rossman family...baby explosion and all!
Noa ate edamame by the handful (with a little squash courtesy of Sierra!)

Sierra *almost* walked

"Does this make my ears look big?"

Are these two related? WOW!

When do we get to celebrate "Best Aunt & Uncle in the World" Day?!?!?

It finally warmed up enough to take Lukey to his first beach day. For those of you who haven't come to visit yet--we have 3 beaches in our neighborhood. One is now officially dog-friendly. YAY!!

Lukey enjoyed his first swim of the season...

And his first towel dry of the season, too!

And it was a good thing--two days later Lukey was scheduled for surgery...

Poor Du!
But he is already in great spirits...and starting to enjoy our 'surprise' garden!

Our backyard just bloomed like this!

And this purple beauty popped up out front!!

So, as you can see, Spring of 07 has been pretty darn good to us thus far. Please keep Lukey in your thoughts. Hopefully stitches come out next week and we can get back to swimming every night!
We've got some fun stuff planned for the summer--including a trip to San Diego!
And as always...COME VISIT!!!
